Dr Faranak Modarai

Fara qualified from Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2002. Following this, she gained extensive and invaluable experience in paediatric dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery and restorative dentistry working with specialist teams both in hospital and practice settings. She was successful in gaining Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004. She then undertook a four year specialist training programme in Orthodontics at King’s College London and Kingston Hospital, gaining Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

 Her areas of interest include facial aesthetics and growth, and she has published in European and American Orthodontic journals. She has presented at National and International Orthodontic meetings and is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society. Fara prides herself on being a perfectionist and staying abreast of modern techniques.

Outside clinical practice, she enjoys skiing, tennis and loves to taste the culinary delights of London’s restaurants.
