GDC NO: 112286
Anita qualified as a dental nurse in 1985 and then spent the following 25 years working in various roles including practice management in many different practices. Whilst continuing to work in the dental profession Anita found time to undertake further education and in 1995/96 gained a degree and post graduate diploma in Law and Legal Practice. However, her passion for dentistry continued unabated and in 2012 she decided to retrain as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at Kings College Hospital London. This means that as well as providing dental hygiene treatment, Anita is able to carry out simple restorations and extraction of primary teeth in children and adults.
She was the winner of the Clinical Therapy prize upon qualification in 2014.
Anita has found that oral hygiene can be particularly challenging for the patient undergoing orthodontic treatment so appointment sessions with her include developing a personalised oral care plan with the patient that is both effective and fits in with their daily routine.
